Hi I’m Euan Mackenzie. My role as CEO of 3MRT over the last few years has given me the opportunity to work with some great people and use some fantastic technologies in the field of software, education and gaming. I have been communicating a lot of what I was hearing and seeing to my colleagues and also to a wider audience at conferences. A blog seems a good way to make some of the company’s ideas and my thoughts public and open for criticism and comment.
Some of the work we have done at 3MRT has been fantastically innovative. Our new InQuizitor product www.InQuizitor.com which is designed to both re-engage de-motivated kids in study and also incentivise and reward academic achievers is proving to be a huge success in schools. The first US based empirical trial results show the software raising achievment levels by a staggering 71%. InQuizitor’s growing success lies in a combination of the design and development we carried out within schools over a three year period, a development team being made up of some of the world’s most successful game designers, and being downright affordable.
I believe that the global demand for learning and knowledge provides limitless opportunities for creative people, companies and organisations to make a huge contribution to life long learning, by applying a combination of great technology, play and games to the process.
