There is nothing quite like getting a shiny new laptop particularly one with an alien’s face glowing from the front…..the excitment of unpacking it from the box, the sleek clean lines, the detachable bits of keypad…(???)….the bewildering array of ‘free’ bloatware, the delete key in the wrong place…ok different place….the seemingly turbo charged responsiveness………….. (prior to loading enormous amounts of bloatware) , the screen quality and then the 3 days to actually get all the crap you really wish you could get rid of, reinstalled…long lost licence and registration keys, patches, settings…. all said and done I’m nearly there and there’s no getting away from the fact that alien face is just so cool…….
